I am a rock, blues, and reggae guitarist based out of Mississauga, ON who has been playing the guitar since 1996. I have many years of performance experience, both with bands and by myself. Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and everything I do has been shaped by this fact in one way or another.
In 2002, three long-time friends and I formed the band Keepin’6, and over the next 8 years we toured Canada, spent lots of time writing and recording, played festivals, and released an album nationwide in Canada (Keepin’6/Uncensored — Stereo Dynamite/ EMI). “Keepin 6’s Uncensored is as strong a debut as any.” – Exclaim Magazine
In 2007, I attended Humber College and completed their Introduction To Commercial Music / Jazz program, working on skills such as sight-reading, playing jazz standards, music theory, and learning the guitar neck inside and out.
In 2008, I started a reggae/rock project with three other great musicians that we called Treble Warriors, and over the next few years we spent a lot of our time writing songs, playing shows and festivals, along with recording and releasing a 4-song EP.
Many years ago I realized how great it was to help those who really wanted to learn how to play the guitar. I know what it’s like to have dreams of playing the guitar, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than being able to provide that experience to others. I run my own professional guitar studio on the border of Mississauga and Oakville (Ontario) and have a great roster of students that consistently surprise me all the time.
Some of my favourite guitarists are Ernest Ranglin, Wes Montgomery, Jimmy Page, John Mayer, Tom Morello, Mark Knopfler, and Eric Clapton, to name a few.
